A-frame footpath signs

Proof & Print A-frame footpath signs start at $270 inc GST for one steel frame with two printed inserts. Ours are printed both sides, in two builds: a weighted steel frame with two swappable printed inserts, or a flat-packed corflute A-frame. Agencies order them for open homes and auctions; corporate teams use them at receptions, events and building entrances.

Should I choose a steel or corflute A-frame sign?

Choose the steel A-frame for a sign used every weekend, because its two printed inserts swap between listings. Choose the flat-packed corflute A-frame for a single campaign, an event or a sign stored flat.

Steel frame with two printed inserts (our default). A weighted, weatherproof steel frame that stands steady on a footpath. The two printed inserts, one for each side, can be swapped between listings or events, so one frame serves campaign after campaign. It suits an agency running opens every weekend, or a reception sign that stays in use.

Flat-packed corflute A-frame. A lighter A-frame made from corflute (a lightweight, fluted plastic board), printed both sides and folded into shape. It packs flat for storage and transport. It is lighter than the steel frame, so it is more easily moved by wind or passers-by, and the print is part of the frame rather than a swappable insert. It suits a single campaign, a one-off event or a sign that lives in a car boot. One corflute A-frame is $190, against $270 for steel.

How much do A-frame signs cost?

One steel A-frame with two printed inserts costs $270 inc GST and two cost $465, with metro delivery included. One flat-packed corflute A-frame costs $190.

Steel frame with two printed inserts. All prices inc GST, with metro delivery included.

A-frame footpath signs: price per run (columns are quantities, in signs), AUD inc GST, metro delivery and a human proof check included. Our recommended default: Steel frame with two printed inserts. Prices as at 18 October 2026.

What do we check on an A-frame sign proof?

Every A-frame sign is checked by a person against our written proof checklist. For A-frames, that means:

  • Viewing distance and type size. An A-frame is read by someone walking or driving past. We flag times, arrows and agency names that are too small to read at a glance.
  • Image resolution at the printed size, for any property photograph or logo.
  • Trim size, bleed and safe area for the insert or panel, and anything that sits where the frame edge will cover it.
  • Both sides. We check that each side carries the right artwork and reads the right way up when the frame is open.
  • Agent names, phone numbers and agency details checked against the list you supplied and formatted consistently. We flag, we never silently change.
  • Sector details, such as an agency licence number where your state requires it on advertising. We flag gaps; it is not legal advice.
  • Colour space and brand colour values, so the A-frame matches your signboards.

How long do A-frame signs take to arrive?

Our target for A-frame signs is 4 to 6 business days after you approve the proof. For a first open or an event, tell your consultant the date the sign needs to be ready.

Delivery to metro Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Adelaide and Canberra is included in every price. Perth, Hobart, Darwin and regional addresses are quoted at cost before you pay. Priority turnaround adds 25% (minimum $95) and dispatches one business day sooner where the product allows; your consultant confirms the date before you pay. Signs for several offices can be delivered separately, $35 per additional metro address.

Which A-frame orders are quoted separately?

Your consultant quotes orders above ten signs and replacement inserts for steel frames you already own. If you run a new office or an event, A-frames are part of The Agency Launch and The Event Kit.

Placement on a public footpath can be subject to local council rules. Check with your council before placing a sign.

Questions

Something else? All questions or ask your consultant.

Are A-frames printed on both sides?

Yes. Both frame options are printed both sides, so the sign reads from either direction along the footpath.

Can I change the inserts between listings?

Yes, on the steel frame. It comes with two printed inserts that can be swapped, so the frame stays and only the message changes. Replacement inserts are quoted by your consultant.

Which frame should I choose?

The steel frame is weighted and weatherproof, and suits a sign used every weekend, with inserts swapped between listings. The flat-packed corflute A-frame is lighter and lower in price, and suits a single campaign, an event or a sign that is stored flat.

Do footpath signs need council approval?

Some councils have rules for signs placed on public footpaths. We do not give planning advice; check with your local council before placing a sign. We can flag details you may want on the sign, such as agency contact details.

Is there a minimum order?

Our minimum order is $150 inc GST. A single corflute A-frame is $190 and a single steel A-frame is $270, so either is above it.
